Client Services Representative/Seasonal - Orlando Magic (Orlando, FL)

JOB SUMMARY

Client Services representatives are responsible for working on game nights to support legendary service and retention efforts of Orlando Magic season ticket holders and fans.


JOB RELATIONSHIPS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports reactive service and retention efforts for season ticket holders, including but not limited to:
o Answering in-bound 89-Magic calls
o Providing online “chat” support to season ticket holders
o Responding to inbound e-mail communication from season ticket holders
o Providing game-night phone/email/chat support for season ticket holders with last-minute service requests
• Answer customer questions and perform duties related to servicing and retaining season ticket holders on game nights
• Obtain intimate knowledge of Amway center, i.e. location of restrooms, ATMs, concessions etc.
• Track, communicate and assess trends and themes in reactive service requests from season ticket holders that identify areas of improvement in education and communication to season ticket holders
• Input information into season ticket holder profiles captured during out of office appointments, or on game nights using Evernote technology
• Troubleshoot challenges and issues in a courteous, professional and timely manner.
• Answer guest and staff inquiries with intelligence and courtesy, and respond or dispatch accordingly.
• Deliver benefits, amenities and service that exceed expectations.
• Demonstrate solid communication skills when serving as a staff touchpoint to any internal Orlando Magic department, Amway Center Arena Operations, Amway Center Box Office and security.
• Contribute to the common goals of the department and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills.
• Present for each work shift in appropriate professional attire.
• Handle complaints and unpleasant guests in a professional manner, with the best interest of the customer and the company in mind.

The AV technician primary role is to support various events scheduled at the Amway Center including but not limited to Orlando Magic, Solar Bear Hockey games, Orlando Predators, concerts and corporate events.  Responsibilities include setting up, striking, and operating various audio visuals equipment used in support of hospitality and/or live sporting event environment.

• Work with the Video Shader and Amway Center Broadcast Technology Services department to properly set up prior to the event and take down and store all camera gear and related equipment at the conclusion of the event as directed.
• Testing of all equipment prior to the opening of doors, including but not limited to the Sony HDC-1500, lenses, tripods, cabling, headsets, Link wireless system and ancillary equipment is required.  Proper set up and operation of pan/tilt head, zoom and focus controls, balanced operation, headset communication and monitor return is required.
• Following the instructions of the show Producer and Director instantaneously during the show in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with the production team during cue-to-cue rehearsal.
• Meet with the Video Shader and Director prior to event start to go over the Production Schedule (game script) and any necessary shot requirements and expectations.
• Creative and quick thinking shot selection and framing with an awareness of the whole production team is required.  The Camera Operator must be fully aware of their role as part of a camera team and work to provide the live show with compelling shots that match the productions standards and feed the replay operators the game and event action they require. The In-Arena show focuses on a combination of taking the fans to the best seat in the house along with a concentration on engaging crowd shots and entertainment.

• Work with the Camera Operator to insure safe and proper operation and placement of the equipment and cabling.  Good customer service skills and communication are required.

• Testing of all equipment and software prior to the opening of doors, including but not limited to the Show Control software, Display Studio, Venus 7000 and related programs is required.
• Following the instructions of the show LED Manager and Producer instantaneously during the show in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with the production team during cue-to-cue rehearsal
• Manage multiple graphic elements, both sponsor and entertainment related, on cue and as scheduled.
• Organizing virtual workspace and insure all required elements are in proper order, current and up to production standards as determined by the LED Manager, show Production Schedule and Advertising Rotation.
• Management and execution of Sponsor Rotation and in-game crowd prompts and other elements as needed.

Foundation Fundraising Representative - Orlando Magic (Orlando, FL)

JOB SUMMARY

The OMYF Fundraising Representative will raise funds for OMYF by selling 50/50 Drawing of Chance tickets throughout the Amway Center during Orlando Magic home games.  50 /50 Drawing of Chance fundraising simply involves the sale of raffle tickets with the proceeds being split evenly between the winner and the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF).  The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation is dedicated to nourishing the minds and bodies of children that need it most throughout Central Florida.  OMYF raises community dollars annually through donations, auctions and events such as the Black Tie and Tennies Gala and the OMYF Open Golf Tournament. The 50/50 Drawing occurs at each home game from the time doors open until the end of the third quarter. Fans purchase tickets from Foundation Reps and at the end of the 3rd quarter, one winning ticket is drawn.  Foundation Reps will be responsible for collecting large amounts of cash and reconciling to the report of sold tickets at the end of each shift.
