Selling season tickets, partial plans, and group tickets to companies and individuals via phone prospecting, personal appointments, and at Magic games. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for generating maximum revenue for the Orlando Magic through full menu marketing ticket programs. • Sell full-seasons, partial plans, and groups for the Orlando Magic. • Create and develop new business by regularly pitching new prospects through in-arena tours, external appointments, and phone prospecting. • Plan and coordinate group events (Pre-game group performances, High-Five Kids Tunnels, etc.) • Work with the Season Ticket Sales and Operations department to provide the highest level of customer service throughout the season. • Game night responsibilities include answering the Magic incoming sales line, assisting with sales initiatives, and/or prospecting clients at the arena. • Attend outside events with the purpose of selling ticket packages in conjunction with the marketing department. • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed sales. **This is a Temporary position that will end November 30, 2010** JOB SUMMARY The Amway Center Tour Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating legendary tours for Amway Center. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? Greet visitors, complete waiver, and issue required safety equipment. ? Develop specific tour routes to individual / group interests. ? Ability to describe points of interest and respond to specific questions regarding the Amway Center. ? Monitor attendees in order to ensure compliance with established safety practices. ? Work directly with our Sales and Marketing Department to target key areas of interest. ? Provide directions and other pertinent information to visitors. ? Provide for physical safety of groups, performing such activities as providing first aid and directing emergency evacuations. ?
